    Charles Shaughnessy


Charles Shaughnessy, born and raised in London, England, was educated at Summerfields Oxford and Eton College. He studied Law at Cambridge University , where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. While at Cambridge he joined the famous "Footlights Revue" comedy group, where he both performed and directed.

After graduating, he joined Eyeline Films and oversaw Production on TV Adverts, Documentaries and short features. After a while, a career in front of the camera beckoned again. Best known to American audiences as Shane Donovan in the daytime series "Days of Our Lives,” and as Maxwell Sheffield in the successful CBS show, "The Nanny," opposite Fran Drescher.

Bus Stop 31 signals a change of course for Charles who, with his brother David, is mining his considerable experience, talent and drive to explore and develop opportunities in the burgeoning online content field. Charles and David created Bus Stop 31 Productions in 2005 and through this company, developed a number of concepts for TV, including: “Red Shift: the LAFD Air Ops,” and “Tea & Crumpet: A Family Business.” Their guerilla online lifestyle/fashion show, “2 Chix Who Love Stuff,” is the first content-coded “advertainment” to be produced and can be seen at: www.stylemouse.com

    David Shaughnessy


David has an extensive background in British Theater, both as a director and performer, where his credits include seven years playing principle roles with the famous “Old Vic Theatre Company.”

Arriving in the United States in 1986, he continued to act and direct theater while being trained as a television director at NBC.  This led to a busy and successful career behind the camera where he went on to direct and produce many television shows for NBC, CBS and Fox.   David was the Executive Producer and a Director of the #1 rated Daytime Drama, “The Young & The Restless.” He was with the show from 1991-2003, during which time he won two Emmy Awards for “Best Daytime Drama,” in 1991 and 2003, and two Nancy Susan Reynolds Awards, a TV Cares Ribbon of Hope Award and a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Daytime Drama.

Before joining the “Young & The Restless,” David had just completed directing two television plays for the Arts & Entertainment Network,  The ACE Award-winning “The Last Act is A Solo,”  with Oympia Dukakis and "Upublished Letters”  with Anthony Edwards and Annette O’Toole.  

He continues to direct on a freelance basis while developing  “Bus Stop 31 Productions,” the company he formed with his brother Charles.  He and Charles are the sons of the late Alfred Shaughnessy, who served as Head Writer on the acclaimed British TV series “Upstairs, Downstairs.” David lives in Los Angeles with his wife, writer Anne Schoettle, and their three daughters, Amy, Katie and Josie.

      Roger Goff


Roger Goff is a seasoned business attorney, with over 20 years of experience in law and business. In addition to his experience as an attorney, he has been an executive, an entrepreneur, a board member and an advisor to hundreds of companies.


A native of Southern California, Roger Goff received his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from UCLA in 1979. While in college, he worked in television and radio, spending time at CNN, KABC television, KFWB radio, KLAV radio in Las Vegas, and a variety of free lance jobs. Following graduation, Roger switched to the advertising field, working in the media department of Foote, Cone & Belding, then as an account executive at an agency specializing in broadcast advertising and promotion, and finally owning and operating his own retail marketing company.

Roger graduated with honors from Loyola Law School in 1987. While in Law School, Roger received American Jurisprudence awards for outstanding achievements in Contract Law, Mediation and Mental Disability Law. He also served as Executive Editor of the Loyola International Law Journal, and was made a member of the prestigious Order of the Coif and the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society.

During his final year at Loyola, Roger accepted a position at the law firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro, where he began his career as an attorney. At Jeffer, Mangels, Roger worked in the corporate department handling a wide variety of transactions from $1 million to $100 million. His experience ranged from mergers and acquisitions to private securities offerings to more complex issues of corporate law.

In 1989, Roger left Jeffer, Mangels to establish his own firm. Since that time, the firm has helped hundreds of companies and individuals identify and pursue business opportunities, as well as solving their most challenging legal problems. The work ranges from business acquisitions and finance, to matters of intellectual property and licensing, with a focus on matters within the Entertainment and Technology sectors.  Roger joined Bus Stop 31 in June of 2007.
